Ahmed Azab is currently the Chief Operation Officer of SAPESCO Africa and was the director of Well Services in Sahara Petroleum Services (SAPESCO) since 2009. He started working in the Petroleum Sector in 1990 in Coiled Tubing and Stimulation services.

He joined SAPESCO in 1991 as a Field Engineer in Coiled Tubing & Stimulation service line. During the period from 1991 to 2014, he was promoted to different positions in the C.T & Stimulation service line till reaching his current position where he is Responsible for directing and developing the overall activities of the service line in accordance with company policies, and formulating the service line strategy and the business plan.

He is a main officer of the ICOTA (Intervention & Coiled Tubing Association) Middle East and North Africa chapter. He served as a steering committee member in the all workshops of the ICOTA MENA.

Ahmed Azab received his B.SC in Mechanical Engineering in 1989.
